Prison Optometry
We deliver Optometry services into more than 60 prisons in England, Scotland and Wales. We are experienced in working with all categories of prison as well as Immigration Removal Centres and Secure Children’s Homes.
Collectively our Opticians have over 50 years experience of working in prisons. We have the data intelligence to accurately forecast the eye care needs of each prison and use data to model our services to ensure efficiency without compromising quality of care.
In 2024, we carried out over 22,500 sight tests within prisons and supplied more than 21,000 pairs of spectacles.
We are dedicated to providing the same standard of care to patients in prison as they would find in the community.
